Who MiniDog is for

A selective option for small dogs that value calm and company

MiniDog is deliberately not designed for every dog. We focus on small dogs and on a good match with Luna.

  • Small dogs whose families prefer a home environment.
  • Dogs that can live calmly with Luna after a proper introduction.
  • Families who value direct communication and a low-volume setting.
  • Stays where maintaining routine, rest and adapted walks matters.

What the stay looks like

Home, four daily walks and room to rest

We keep the rhythm simple and familiar rather than filling the day with constant stimulation.

Adapted walks

Travelling to Madrid

Useful when your plans do not work well with a dog

An overnight stay can make sense during a business trip, a late event, a short break or part of a holiday when your dog cannot comfortably join every plan.

MiniDog is in Valdebebas, north-east Madrid. This can be relevant if you are staying around Madrid North, IFEMA or the airport area, but we do not promise transfer times: Madrid traffic and your exact location matter.

For a first stay, contact us early enough to arrange the introduction with Luna if the dates and profile fit.

Questions from visiting families

Before you book

Can my dog stay overnight?

Yes. MiniDog offers overnight stays for small dogs, subject to availability and a good fit with Luna.

Do you only accept small dogs?

Yes. MiniDog is intentionally focused on small dogs. We look at size, temperament and compatibility rather than working as a general boarding facility.

Will my dog stay in a kennel?

No. MiniDog is home-based care. The guest dog lives in our home routine with Luna.

Will there be other dogs?

MiniDog cares for one guest dog at a time. The guest shares the home with Luna.

How do you know whether my dog will get along with Luna?

Our preferred approach is a calm introduction walk before the first stay. If a genuine urgent situation leaves no time for that and your dog is small, affectionate, calm and sociable, we can consider an exception after a proper conversation about their character and routine. The wellbeing of Luna and the guest dog always comes first.

What should I bring?

Usual food if needed, leash or harness, routine information and any medication or special instructions. A familiar blanket or bed can also help.

How do I check availability?

Message us with your dates, your dog's breed or mix, approximate weight, temperament and routine. We will tell you the next step.

Where is MiniDog located?

In Valdebebas, Madrid North / north-east Madrid. We share the general area with families travelling around IFEMA, Madrid North and the airport zone.

Flying through Madrid-Barajas?

MiniDog is in Valdebebas, very close to T4

If your flight and your dog's care need to fit together, see our airport guide. T4 is typically around 6-8 minutes by car/taxi from Valdebebas, and exceptional airport collection or hand-off may sometimes be considered by prior agreement.

Check the fit first

Tell us your dates and what your dog is like

We prefer a clear yes or no to accepting a dog that would not be comfortable here.
