For work, appointments, sightseeing or an event when leaving your small dog alone is not a good option. Depending on availability and the day's organisation, MiniDog can care for your dog for a few hours or a daytime stay.

Day care is useful when your dog needs company while you have plans that are difficult to combine with a small dog.

Company without turning the day into a dog park
MiniDog cares for one guest dog at a time. During day care we keep the basics familiar: rest, four daily walks adapted to the dog's rhythm, food if it is due and direct communication with the family.
The aim is not constant activity. Small dogs also need quiet time and a place to settle.

Can I leave my dog for the day while visiting Madrid?
Yes, if MiniDog has availability and your small dog is a good fit. We normally prefer a calm introduction with Luna first. If you have a genuine urgent need and your dog is small, affectionate, calm and sociable, we can consider an exception after speaking with you properly about their character and routine.
Is day care charged by the hour?
It depends on availability and how the day is organised. Send the approximate times and we will tell you what is possible.
What should my dog bring?
Food if it is due, leash or harness, routine information and any important instructions. A familiar blanket or bed can help some dogs settle.
Can day care help before an overnight stay?
Yes. A shorter daytime stay can be a useful way for some dogs to become familiar with MiniDog before a longer stay.
MiniDog is in Valdebebas, very close to T4
If your flight and your dog's care need to fit together, see our airport guide. T4 is typically around 6-8 minutes by car/taxi from Valdebebas, and exceptional airport collection or hand-off may sometimes be considered by prior agreement.
